Lost and Found Pet Microchip Scanning

Pet microchip illustration

Spicewood Fire Rescue now has the capability to scan microchips on pets that have been found. Once we have the ID number of the microchip, we'll be able to provide that number to HomeAgain representatives to help reunite the lost pet with their owners.

To get a found pet scanned, please call the Fire Station at (830) 693-7136 to set up a time with members at the station.

This service is made possible thanks to a couple of residents from Double Horn who donated the microchip scanner to Spicewood Fire Rescue on August 16, 2023.

Speak with your pet's veterinarian to learn about getting your pet microchipped.
