Burnet County Emergency Services District 9, BCESD9, operates Spicewood Fire Rescue to provide a full range of emergency services.

Spicewood Fire Rescue responds to calls for medical assistance, vehicle collisions, wildland and brush fires, structure fires, water rescues, technical rescues, and more. When you call 911, our local firefighters will show up.

District funds are used to:

1. To staff the Fire Station with Certified Firefighters.

2. To purchase and maintain fire apparatus and equipment.

3. To fund Training and Recruitment programs.

4. To maintain Facilities.

5. To provide Administrative Support.
